The Heart's Fall

© Soliloquy

The heart takes a dive,
Jumps from the board,

And plunges deeply into the

Cyan water...

Heartbeats wear cloaks of emotions.

They neither know relief nor pain.

Life breathes into dead wishes again...

Problems disappear in a flock...

In the meanwhile,

Questions turn to Compatibility

And

Moments marry Serenity...

Bleeding Love

Love gets me every time,

Each time worse than the other

Hidden rules make fun,

Poke, stab hard,

On the tender skin

Lurking behind the guard...

Hand-in-hand, we walked

In rolled-up denims and burped,

Fingers snapped in cheer,

Nails crawled in fear...

On an unplanned night

Wrinkled bedsheets beeped,

Wooden floors peeped,

Wall-termites creeped...

Vanity was dark and shallow

Voices in the head were loud and mellow

A ceramic Buddha laughed on the Table..
